During breaks from school and work- I would stay with them. This was a wonderful time for me and really enjoyed their home away from home. Pat had such a spunk about her- just amazing. <\/p>\n<p>They were a team- two peas in a pod. They have a loving family and really Bible believing people. They showed me so much about daily life, marriage, and good values.<\/p>\n<p>Pat was diagnosed with Cancer December &#8217;05. She was fighting very hard and was coming out ahead. Unfortuntely though, she lost the battle.<br \/>\nShe past away last weekend and her memorial was yesterday in Konoflingen, Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>What a sad time it is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In loving memory, originally uploaded by mdshivers.
